Custom-created original production with live music and over 200 performers

Infinity Films partnered with Brand.LIVE to write and produce the show for the 2011 Grey Cup Gala dinner.  This event was all about team spirit and we jumped in wholeheartedly!

Infinity Films was proud to come aboard as the creative producers of the 2011 Scotiabank Grey Cup Show Your Colours Gala at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver. Continuing their long association with brand.LIVE Group Ltd, we showed our team colours by creating a Cup-worthy spectacle for 2,000 guests including video inserts, IMAG, 200 performers and a live six-piece band. And did we mention the cheerleaders?  The show was written and directed by Infinity Films’ partner SHEL PIERCY.

In the style of the Broadway hit “Spamalot”, but with football as its theme, the evening included appearances by “The Queen”, “ABBA” and “Celine Dion”. The hilarious script featured fabulous music and dance all performed by some of Canada’s top musical theatre artists. Musical direction and arrangements were by long-time Infinity Films orchestrator EDWARD HENDERSON with choreography by SHELLEY STEWART HUNT. Featured performers included PETER JORGENSEN, MATT PALMER, CAILIN STADNYK and SYLVIA ZARADIC.

The evening was attended by Prime Minister Stephen Harper, British Columbia Premier Christy Clark and Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robinson.
